Terms of Service

Last updated: June 25, 2026

These terms set the operating rules for GenieDesk: connect only what you are allowed to use, keep human review in the loop, and use the service responsibly.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of GenieDesk, an AI-assisted customer operations desk for reviewing customer email, preparing grounded replies, and proposing backend actions for human approval.

By creating an account, connecting an integration, starting a trial, subscribing, or using GenieDesk, you agree to these Terms. If you use GenieDesk on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for the users, integrations, source materials, and customer data you connect to GenieDesk.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account or connected services have been compromised.

Your data and permissions

You retain ownership of the content, customer messages, knowledge materials, playbooks, and other data you provide to GenieDesk. You grant GenieDesk the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and use that data to provide and improve the service.

When you connect a third-party service, you authorize GenieDesk to access and use that service as needed for the features you enable. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect those accounts and process the associated data.

AI-prepared work and human approval

GenieDesk uses AI and connected context to prepare drafts, summaries, classifications, recommendations, and proposed actions. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for a particular situation.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving GenieDesk's proposed replies and actions before relying on them or allowing them to affect customers, records, calendars, documents, billing, or other systems.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use GenieDesk to violate laws, regulations, contracts, third-party rights, or provider terms.
  • Do not upload or process data you are not authorized to use with GenieDesk.
  • Do not use GenieDesk to send spam, phishing, deceptive messages, malware, or harmful instructions.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, billing controls, approval flows, or integration permission boundaries.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, interfere with, or disrupt GenieDesk or its infrastructure.
  • Do not use GenieDesk for high-risk decisions where an error could cause death, personal injury, severe financial harm, or other critical consequences.

Third-party services

GenieDesk can connect to third-party services such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Slack, Notion, Stripe, and AI model providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and GenieDesk is not responsible for third-party services it does not control.

Third-party services may change or stop providing access in ways that affect GenieDesk features. You are responsible for maintaining the connected accounts, permissions, and subscriptions needed for your workflows.

Trials, subscriptions, and billing

GenieDesk may offer a free trial and paid subscription plans. Unless otherwise stated in the product, the GenieDesk plan is $19.99 per month after a 7-day free trial and includes 100 AI proposals per billing period.

Billing is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can manage billing through the GenieDesk settings area or the Stripe billing portal when available.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by GenieDesk. We may change pricing or plan limits with notice where required.

Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of GenieDesk at any time. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Confidentiality and security

Each party may receive confidential information through use of GenieDesk. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect confidential information and will use it only as permitted by these Terms or as required by law.

You are responsible for configuring your workspace, connected accounts, approval habits, and user access in a way that fits your security and compliance needs.

Intellectual property

GenieDesk, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by GenieDesk or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of GenieDesk.

You may provide feedback or suggestions. We may use feedback without restriction or obligation to you.

Disclaimers

GenieDesk is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

GenieDesk does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for determining whether GenieDesk outputs and workflows are appropriate for your use case.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GenieDesk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or replacement services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GenieDesk's total liability for claims relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid to GenieDesk in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold GenieDesk harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your data, your use of GenieDesk, your connected services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Termination

You may stop using GenieDesk at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay fees, or if required by law.

After termination, sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply, including payment obligations, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will provide notice as appropriate. Continued use of GenieDesk after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
